Caprice Viennois

In a version of Fritz Kreisler’s “Caprice Viennois” adapted especially for this concert, conductor Daniel Auner will also shine as a virtuoso violin soloist in this concert. Daniel Auner plays a unique instrument by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from the Austrian National Bank’s collection of valuable string instruments.

The Monti Csardas, interpreted by the long-time concertmaster of the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra Christian Scholl, is another highlight of the concert.

The evening is completed with the elegance and joyfulness of Mozart’s most famous opera arias and the most beautiful melodies from the operettas by Strauss, Léhàr and Kalman.
