In particular, the annual New Year&#8217;s Eve concert and New Year&#8217;s concert have become a highlight of the Viennese cultural scene.<\/p>\n<p>The Liechtenstein Palace is one of the oldest aristocratic summer palaces in Vienna. Since 2010 it is also called the Liechtenstein Garden Palace in order not to confuse it with the Liechtenstein City Palace.<\/p>\n<p>With the magnificent Herkulessaal and the spacious baroque garden, the Liechtenstein Palace has been available as an event location since 2012. the Liechtenstein Palace. The most impressive architectural feature is the magnificent ceiling fresco \u201cTaking Hercules into Olympus\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Pozzo, the great master of the Roman Baroque, created this incredibly vital work from 1704 to 1708. In 1807 the collection was made accessible to the public for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The Second World War brought major changes to the Liechtenstein Garden Palace. The royal family moved their main residence to Vaduz in 1938 and towards the end of the war the art collection followed.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1957 the palace has mainly been used as a museum for art. From the tram station \u201cSeegasse\u201d it is approx. 200m to the entrance of the Palais.<\/p>\n<p>If you arrive by car, there is a paid parking garage at Bauernfeldplatz, 1090 Vienna.
